At Lumas Solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional value through our advisory, coaching, spaking, and consulting services. This Refund Policy outlines the
terms under which refunds may be issued for our various service offerings.
We believe in the quality of our work and the transformation it can create. If you are not satisfied with our services, we encourage you to communicate with us directly so we can address your concerns.
Service-Specific Refund Terms
1. Clarity Sessions (90-Minute Strategic Consultations)

Full Refund: Available if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled session

No Refund: Cancellations within 48 hours of the session or no-shows are non-refundable

Rescheduling: You may reschedule once without penalty with at least 48 hours' notice

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your clarity session, please contact us within 7 days to discuss potential remedies
2. Executive Advisory & Coaching Retainers

First Month: If you are not satisfied after your first month, you may receive a prorated refund for any unused sessions

Ongoing Engagements: After the first month, refunds are not available, but you may terminate the engagement with 30 days' written notice

Unused Sessions: Prepaid but unused sessions may be credited toward future services or refunded at our discretion, depending on the circumstances

Commitment: Some programs require a minimum commitment period as specified in your service agreement
3. Leadership & Strategy Intensives

Before Start Date: Full refund if canceled at least 14 days before the intensive begins

7-14 Days Before: 50% refund if canceled 7-14 days before the intensive

Less than 7 Days: No refund for cancellations within 7 days of the start date

After Commencement: Once the intensive has begun, no refunds will be issued
4. Speaking Engagements & Workshops

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure the date

Cancellation by Client: If you cancel, the deposit is forfeited, and the balance may be due depending on timing

Cancellation by Lumas Solutions: In the unlikely event we must cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule

Force Majeure: In cases of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a partial refund

Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days and issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the refund.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may offer partial refunds or credit toward future services rather than full refunds, depending on the nature of the engagement and services already provided.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally non-refundable:

Services already rendered or in-progress deliverables

Custom materials, assessments, or research prepared specifically for your engagement

Travel expenses incurred for on-site services

Rescheduling vs. Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. In many cases, rescheduling may be a better option than requesting a refund. We are generally flexible with rescheduling requests made with reasonable notice.
Rescheduling Guidelines:

First rescheduling request: No penalty with 48+ hours' notice

Subsequent rescheduling: May be subject to fees or restrictions

Chronic rescheduling: May result in termination of the engagement
Extraordinary Circumstances
We recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise (e.g., serious illness, family emergencies, natural disasters). In such cases, please contact us directly to discuss your situation. We will work with you in good faith to find a reasonable solution, which may include:

Extended rescheduling windows

Pausing an engagement with the option to resume

Partial refunds or credit toward future services

Transferring services to another qualified individual (with our approval)
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about our services or a refund request that has been denied, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. We are committed to resolving any issues through open communication and good faith negotiation.
In the rare event that we cannot reach a mutually agreeable resolution, the dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms and Conditions will apply.
