I argue with him that I'm a realist because I see hope and opportunity just as real as any uncertainty and adversity in front of me. Initially hope and opportunity may not be as concrete as the challenge; but in time hope grows and opportunity materializes. And optimism is the seed that makes it possible. I've found that optimism and action to be reciprocal catalysts. The presence of one accelerates the other. And only through action do we get results.
